Long-Term Running Goals:

Finish a Marathon and a Triathlon

Run for the rest of my life so I can be in good health

Finish an Iron Man triathlon

Personal:

I took 6th at state for wrestling at 112lbs in 2008.

I took 5th at state for wrestling at 125lbs in 2009.

3 Time Region Champion 2008-2010

 First started running for wrestling but soon found out that its a lot of fun running with the PVHS XC team.

I also have a twin sister named lacy and have an older sister named jenny and older brother named mike.

I Love riding road and mountain bikes and watch the Tour de France every stage every year.

I just started running XC at Dixie State College and I am loving it!!

It was a race just between the team.  It wasn't bad at all.  I felt pretty good the whole way.  I know I can go faster.  I loved this race!

We warmed up for 1.31 miles and then ran tempo out on the trail.  We ran 10 minutes out and 10 minutes back. Then we ran 1.31 cool down.   My average pace during the tempo run was 6:08 a miles

This was my first college race!  It went pretty good.  I started out a little fast but I felt pretty strong.  This was my first 8k.   It seemed way long compared to the normal 5k we ran in high school.  There was some pretty good hills there.  All in all I think it went well.  I was 2nd place on the team today.

I went on a 8 mile run by myself out past corral canyon and back.  My legs were still way tired from the race on Saturday.  It was kind of nice running by myself.  My average pace was 8:02.  I took it easy.

Today I ran 10 Foremaster hills.  It wasn't to bad actually.  My legs are pretty sore but it's getting easier and easier to run.  I'm really enjoying running this season.

1.3 mile run out to the trail.  Then we ran a 24 minute tempo run.  It was 12 minutes out and 12 minutes back.  I felt really good and strong today.  I like running these hard work outs.  My average pace 5:59 a mile.  I ran almost exactly 4 miles.  Then I ran 1.3 back to the college.

We ran a 1.09 mile warm up to the base of web hill.  Then we ran up it 2 times.  I felt really good and pushed it up both times.  It was my first time on web hill and I enjoyed the run and the view at the top.  Then ran a 1.09 mile cool down.

Today was our second time trial.  I felt pretty strong on the run and I felt good pushing it like a race.  My hip was a little sore but not to bad.  The course was pretty nice except we had to cross a lot of streets which made me a little nervous because I didn't want to be stopped at a street waiting for cars but luckily I didn't have to.  My average pace was 6:02.
