Finish a Marathon and a Triathlon

Run for the rest of my life so I can be in good health

Finish an Iron Man triathlon

Personal:

I took 6th at state for wrestling at 112lbs in 2008.

I took 5th at state for wrestling at 125lbs in 2009.

3 Time Region Champion 2008-2010

 First started running for wrestling but soon found out that its a lot of fun running with the PVHS XC team.

I also have a twin sister named lacy and have an older sister named jenny and older brother named mike.

I Love riding road and mountain bikes and watch the Tour de France every stage every year.

I just started running XC at Dixie State College and I am loving it!!

We ran in San Bernardino for an easy 30 minutes.  We were going to run the course but the park was closed.  It was nice weather.

There was only 2 teams at this race but it was still a lot of fun.  I felt like I ran hard and pushed it the whole way.  I started getting a little side ache but I got rid of it.  There was a pretty good hill we had to run up twice but I really liked that part.  All in all it was a good race for me.  I wore my garmin and it said the course was 4.82 instead of 5.

Nice 6 mile run on top of Formaster.  It was a nice pace and my legs felt pretty good.

Today we did sun rise tire hills.  We ran there for a warm up and a cool down.  We did a total of 9 hills.  I felt really good and quick today.  I felt like I pushed all of them which was nice.  I have really started to like these hills for some reason.  The weather was awesome to run in because it was dark and cool with a light sprinkling of rain.  It was a great day for a run.

Today our workout was supposed to be mile repeats but the course we ran was only about .87 miles long.  We ran 5 of those and 1X800 at the end.  I felt pretty good on every single one of them.   My hip was a little sore but I think it will be alright.

This race was way hard!  It seemed like it was hard on all of us.  It was at a golf course and it was freezing when we got there. Willy and I actually led the race for about 2 seconds.  It was awesome!  We payed for it later though.  The race consisted of 2 loops and on the first loop I thought I was going to die.  I felt like I couldn't even run fast at all.  It was like I was running in slow motion.  Then at the end of the first loop was a small down hill which helped me get my second wind in a way.  The last loop I pushed it hard. It still was tough but definitely better.   I think the altitude made it tough or something because my lungs hurt for the rest of the day.

I ran to the telegraph hill over by Washington parkway for a warm-up. Then I ran up the hill 3 times. Each hill was about .83 miles or so. It was long and kinda tough but I liked pushing it up the hill. Then I ran back to my house for a cool down.

I ran out on the mosquito trail.  My legs were pretty sore from playing ultimate frisbee and football.  It felt good to get out and run after taking a little break.

I ran pyramids today but I only ended up doing a 400, 600, 800, 800, 600, 400, 400, 600, 800, and 800.  My hip started hurting so I took my last 800 easy and then stopped and iced my hip.  I'm going to take this weekend easy and let my hip get better.

Today was a long run from my house out to warner valley and back.  It was fun running out there and having time to think.  I ran at about 7:41 pace.  I kicked it up for the last few miles.  My legs were sore at first but they warmed up and were alright.  I didn't plan on going that far but I'm glad I did.
